Herbs

Many of the plants that we sell can be seen growing in our garden.

Visitors can therefore see how the small plant they might buy should look in years to come.

Plants in our garden are also used to provide a source of cutting material for propagation.

Each year staff at The Herb Farm propagate over 10,000 young herb plants from cuttings.

Many are also raised from seed.

We specialise in growing many of the unusual varieties of common Herbs.

Currently we have over 40 varieties of Lavender, at least 10 types of Rosemary 15 Mints and of course many many different varieties of Thyme.

Other unusual plants that we grow include a range of Scented Geraniums, Olive Trees, Bay Trees, Myrtle, Lemon Verbena as well as some of the winter flowering Salvias

Herb Information is available on Basil, Lavender, Marjoram, Mint, Thyme, Rosemary
